ABOUT STUDENTS IN COMMUNITY EVANGELISM (SICE)
Students In Community Evangelism (SICE) is an annual event where students, along with individuals passionate about sharing the love and teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gather to reach out to those in need of spiritual guidance. The primary focus is on reaching communities in rural areas and villages.
MAIN ACTIVITES
DOOR TO DOOR EVANGELISM
The primary activity during Students in Community Evangelism (SICE) is door-to-door evangelism, which is complemented by other impactful initiatives. One such activity is dawn broadcasting, where devotions are shared using megaphones and speakers during the early hours of the day.The door to door evangelism or street evangelism offers an opportunity where teams approach people on the street in a friendly and respectful manner, or in their houses, offering conversation, prayer, or informational materials about Christ.
CRUSADE
Evening crusades are organized, featuring guest preachers emphasizing the message of salvation and offering healing and deliverance for those in need. Participants in the evangelism efforts also partake in enriching bible studies, enhancing their understanding of evangelism and fostering spiritual growth.
MEDICAL OUTREACH
A medical outreach program, featuring professional doctors and aspiring health professionals, serves the community by providing free screenings, necessary medications, and referrals for further medical attention if required.
SCHOOL OUTREACH
Student outreach programs where we engage with community schools to provide education on academic pursuits infused with spiritual values. Special sessions are organized for young women, addressing vital topics such as menstrual hygiene, teenage pregnancy, and the pursuit of knowledge and skills.
DONATIONS
At our annual outreach program, we are committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need. Your generous donations play a crucial role in this mission, helping us provide essential items and bring hope to many.
We gladly accept donations of clothing, including new and gently used clothes for all ages and sizes, as well as school bags, backpacks, and handbags. In addition, we collect hygiene products, such as pads and other essentials, to support the dignity and well-being of women and girls. Educational materials and inspirational items, like books and souvenirs, are also welcome to foster learning and personal growth. Furthermore, we accept footwear, including shoes, sandals, and other types of footwear, to ensure comfort and protection.
Each item you donate helps us meet the diverse needs of the community we serve. Your contributions not only provide practical support but also show care and compassion, making a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families.
