“Unafraid” is a historical fiction novel that tells the story of Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ. The story is set in biblical times, during the reign of King Herod in Israel. The book explores Mary’s journey from being an ordinary woman to becoming the mother of Jesus Christ and her role in the lineage of Christ. This novel is part of Rivers’ “Lineage of Grace” series, which tells the stories of five women from the Bible who made significant contributions to the history of Israel and the genealogy of Jesus Christ .
