SICE
Students In Community Evangelism (SICE) is an annual outreach program aimed at spreading the message of the Gospel to communities. This event offers a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for people to connect with God. SICE aims to share the good news of Jesus Christ with people from all walks of life. Through various activities and interactions, SICE seeks to plant seeds of faith and open hearts to the transformative power of God’s love. SICE also recognizes the importance of genuine connection. The outreach program creates a welcoming environment where participants can engage in open conversations, ask questions, and build relationships with one another. Service to the community is another purpose for the birth of this program. This involves offering free medical services and clothing. By demonstrating Christ’s love through acts of service, SICE aims to connect with the community on a deeper level.
CREATIVITY NIGHT
Creativity night is an annual event organised by the Union to help showcase talents. It is an evening of inspiration, creativity, and celebration of the artistic talents within our church. Creativity night gives us the opportunity to explore various creative arts including painting, pottery, writing, photography, and music amongst others. It is an evening where we enjoy worship music and a special message on the intersection of faith and art. With creativity night, members of the Union get to share their creations and be inspired by the talents of others. It is a night of connecting with fellow creatives and building new relationships. Some activities during this gathering include painting, pottery, writing: Explore poetry, short stories, photographying the beauty around us, singing or playing an instrument, or composing a piece, stage craft amongst others. Creativity Night is an event that seeks to celebrate the diverse creative gifts within the Union providing a platform for self-expression and exploration. It also helps to foster a deeper connection and encouragement among members and above all, honor God through our artistic talents. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, or a spectator, you can always join us for an evening of creativity, inspiration, and fellowship. Let’s unleash the power of imagination and glorify God through our talents.
DINNER
EPSU KNUST dinner is an event instituted by the executive council of EPSU KNUST to be held every two years. This event is geared towards bringing together the members of the Love Sanctuary and friends under one fellowship of unforgettable memories. The first of its kind was held in the 2017/2018 academic year and it ended up being a great success.
FAMILY GATHERING
Family Gathering is an annual cherished tradition where every member of the Union comes together to celebrate the bonds of faith, fellowship, and fun! This joyous event is more than just merrymaking; it’s a chance to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and create lasting memories. On this occasion, we come together as church to enjoy delicious meals free of charge, a variety of activities that cater to everyone including games, contests, sharing stories in a welcoming atmosphere, heartfelt fellowship as the essence of our Family Gathering lies in forging strong bonds. We also take this opportunity to catch up with our friends, share laughter, and strengthen the connections that make EPSU-KNUST so special. There is musical upliftment as well. Whether it’s a choir performance or a lively hymn sing-along, music will fill the air and bring us closer in spirit. It is more than just a gathering. This event is a testament to the power of community. It’s a space to celebrate each other, offer support in times of need, and cultivate a sense of belonging. WORSHIP NIGHT
Worship Night is an evening of powerful praise, prayer, and encounter with God that is organised by the Union annually to praise God as a unified body. Worship night is a night of dynamic worship time with the maker led by our praise team. It is a night full of inspiring testimonies and stories of God’s faithfulness, personal prayer and ministry time and connection with fellow believers. Worship night is organised by the Union to help foster a deeper connection with God and each other while encouraging and uplifting one another in our faith, seeking God’s guidance, healing, and blessing.
CIG
Captured in Glory (CIG), held biennially by EPSU KNUST, is an indescribable worship event where attendees experience a tangible presence of God through powerful worship sessions, beautiful staging, and a profoundly immersive atmosphere.
